I am pleased to write this testimonial regarding NatSteel’s experience with Vines Consulting, Management Consultant, May Li for our leadership development programme.

 

With the success of that first partnership in implementing Service Mindset Workshops, we quickly realized that May Li could offer our company more than simply finding consultants to fill the gaps in our customer centric programme.  She was fully committed to establish a full understanding of learners need through running of focus groups. In the end, we partnered May Li to lead in our leadership development programmes.

 

One such leadership development programme was the Mentoring chapter for young leaders. The programme was an initiative to build a strong leadership pipeline. We shared with May Li the broad objectives of the programme  and the deliverables.

The initial brief was to target the young leaders and to equip them with the skills of a successful mentoring journey. She suggested facilitating the focus groups workshops to reach out to the senior leaders too. This enabled us to define and optimize our leadership processes to align with our company goals to position the organisation for future growth. She solicited the requirements from the various focus groups sessions to uncover the needs of the participants and offered fresh perspectives.  Subsequently, she shared with the evaluation team a comprehensive analysis and recommendation for the leadership development programme (Mentoring) that we ultimately selected.

 

Key milestones were set and expectations of the project were met in full. I was most impressed with May Li’s flexibility in adapting to NatSteel’s specific needs and occasional variations in implementation dates. She showed professionalism in all dealings with the project team and the senior leaders (mentors)

Swarovski Singapore Trading Pte Ltd had the pleasure of working with Ms Geoy May Li, Managing Consultant, Vines Consulting LLP in 2012 and 2013.

 

In our initial discussion with May Li on customising a Customer Engagement Programme for us entitled 'Sparkling Moments wtih Swarovski', she spared no time and effort to truly understand our business needs by spending time with our Boutique Managers, Brand Ambassadors as well as the management team to observe, interact and understand the nature of the work and challenges faced by our team members. May Li also spent numerous hours in-store to observe existing service processes, customer flow and buying behaviours.

 

In addition, May Li also conducted focus group sessions with both our retail teams and management team where we were able to gather valuable input in establishing learning needs, customers' requirements and opportunities for service improvements.

 

After working closely with us for a period of 8 months, May Li then delivered a series of workshops for our entire retail teams for Singapore and Malaysia. Throughout the workshops, our retail team had benefitted greatly from May Li in the way she had engaged and delivered the key topics. The workshops were kept very interactive, interesting and lively through case studies, role-plays, games, group discussions and sharing with one another.

 

In order to ensure effective applications in the post-training, May Li supported us with followup coaching workshops for our Boutique Managers as well as continuous assessment where she spent several days in our stores to observe and coach the team, and thereafter, shared her observations with the management team for further opportunities to drive our Customer Vision.

 

With this experiential training, our team was able to be refreshed, recharged and empowered to deliver even more sparkling moments for our customers!

 

It has been a tremendous learning experience working with May Li, due to her

professionalism, competency, patience, coupled with her warm and personal touch.
